Sweet M remains, like MOM-NOS's Bud, frightened of dogs. M recently made these storyboards at school and her teachers sent home photocopies today . . .
1. The dog is disguise[d as] a cat. 2. The cat is at the beach.
3. and the dog is in the cat costume. 4. and the cat is still at the beach.
I'd say it's almost Joycean in its reiterations, wouldn't you? No dog in the nighttime here, but a bonafide case of canine-feline identity theft.
And judging from the look on that mouse's face in frame one, we don't have a missing theory of mind problem here.

It's the truth about cats and dogs indeed!
So much detail! Ben used to draw cartoons, and his characters were highly animated, but sweet M has him beat! They can say so much so succinctly.
I love this kind of stuff...our kids' gifts exposed! And seeing this helps me realize how much our kids have in common.
It's funny M won't be fooled by the dog in the cat suit...
Na bin nah never afrit on dogs fore I were afrit on em, and then afrit on cats cos I never knew the buggers aright.
interesting thing, when I was about 10 or so, me an me brother got me mum to drawing pictures of where she was working an you know what her pictures were more naieve and childish than mine were, dunno whether that was accidence or incidence :)
Those are great pictures. M is a much better artist than me and I've got a few years on her. Just a few though. ;-)
